Bowery Hotel Mania: Lafayette House Fans the Flames

Now that the Bowery Hotel (né Tower of Bowery) has thrown open its doors and plush lobby to the masses, time to shift our obsession across the way to Eric Goode and Sean McPherson's Lafayette House, located on East 4th between the Bowery and, er, Lafayette. The place has quietly been open for a few months (and has already received its contractually obligated Vanity Fair plug), but we hadn't yet glimpsed its website with its glorious photos of the 15 rooms, each with fireplace. Hot. As for the per-room prices, we advise those who value their checkbooks not to inquire.
