Global Warming: It's Gone Too Far

Thursday, April 12, 2007, by Joey

Leave it to the folks at New York to take a potential global disaster and ask the questions that only we would care about:

Would the Richard Meier condos on the West Side Highway be submerged?
Their foundations would probably be underwater, yes.

Is your home in Williamsburg safe?
Actually, I live right on Kent Avenue, so the waterline would be nipping at it for sure.

Holy fucking shit! Our national treasures, Richard Meier's glassy towers and Billyburg, drenched!

Massive portions of San Francisco would be underwater, that is for sure. Of course, if the water line gets inside Giant's stadium, maybe Barry Bonds could finally hit another "splash landing".

Everyone come out on Saturday for National Day of Climate Action and Awareness! Go to stepitup2007.org for events near you! Or just come to the Sea of People at Battery Park at Noon, there'll be a human chain to mark lower manhattan's future waterline. There you'll be able to see all the condos that will be submerged!

This is what Sophie Bednarczyk, Greenpoint's beloved realtor has to say about global warming:
