Global Warming: It's Gone Too Far
Thursday, April 12, 2007, by Joey
Leave it to the folks at New York to take a potential global disaster and ask the questions that only we would care about:
Would the Richard Meier condos on the West Side Highway be submerged?
Their foundations would probably be underwater, yes.
Is your home in Williamsburg safe?
Actually, I live right on Kent Avenue, so the waterline would be nipping at it for sure.
Holy fucking shit! Our national treasures, Richard Meier's glassy towers and Billyburg, drenched!

Massive portions of San Francisco would be underwater, that is for sure. Of course, if the water line gets inside Giant's stadium, maybe Barry Bonds could finally hit another "splash landing".
Park Slope will be safe..ya gotta go uphill from the shore line so I think we'll rise above over here!
Everyone come out on Saturday for National Day of Climate Action and Awareness! Go to stepitup2007.org for events near you! Or just come to the Sea of People at Battery Park at Noon, there'll be a human chain to mark lower manhattan's future waterline. There you'll be able to see all the condos that will be submerged!
man made global warming is a hoax. stop being sheep who believe everything the "elites" say.
hello... the water line is measured daily for rises and falls (around the USA), you don't think this would happen over night? al gore is a jerk off the scare this nation into GW assholes!
Yeah! Those elite scientists dont know squat. Only trust anonymous blog posters!
whoaa!!! no way!!! Sea People this Saturday? I can't wait "... Sea People and Me..."
Will someone please throw some life preservers for the poor little hipsters, since we all know their Ugg boots and ipods are prone to sink?
No more obnoxious Meier glass condos? No more Williamsburg? Hmmm...I'm headed over to the Hummer dealer right now!
