Celebrity Real Estate Wrap: Gwyneth's Great Wall Agitates

Monday, June 25, 2007, by Joey

2007_6_palmartin.jpg1) According to Braden Keil, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin are pissing off their Amagansett neighbors by building a big wall around their 2.2-acre estate. Then again, the neighbors are probably just jealous about the deal the Paltrow-Martins got. [Braden Keil/Gimme Shelter]

2) Word on the street is that Switch Building broker Avi Voda has been passing around the link to the Jessica Alba item as a promotional tool. Is this an inadvertant confirmation? No word on whether the apartment is for her brosef.

3) Newscaster and hawk hater Paula Zahn is out at tony 927 Fifth Avenue. She's getting a divorce and starting anew in a $40,000/month rental at the Siena on East 76th Street. You see what happens when you fuck with Pale Male? [Keil]

4) In what is assuredly not an indication of what's wrong with the record business, British pop singer Lily Allen's label is putting her up in a $10,000/month apartment overlooking the Hudson (Atelier?) while she makes YouTube videos and goes to parties. [NYMag]

Avi Voda might very well be the shadiest broker in NYC.

if it wasnt for his kaballah hookups, he'd be selling stolen watches out of a dirty trenchcoat on Canal street.

- truth.

How fitting that Paul and Dick are going to receive the same thing as Pale Male and Lola.

I wonder if she does that head tilt thing when she is blowing Paul Fribourg? Someone should put "I'm a whore for multi-millionaires" on her tele-prompter, because she is so stupid she'd read it aloud. She is a total piece of shit.

Lilly Allen! Lol. She'll be doing tricks at the Atelier soon enough.

I don't understand why Gwenyth has to put up massive security and cameras at every home she owns (I'd be happy to list them if someone wants), considering that she is not present 99% of the time. I live near her in the West Village and have NEVER EVER EVER seen her or know anyone who has seen her around there. Furthermore the curtains and blinds in her windows must be permanently nailed shut. I think she might be a vampire and Apple must be pale as hell.

In some places a cedar wall is called a fence and is common place around the Hamptons. A fence is required to enclose a pool and can be around the property line or around the pool itself.
