CurbedWire: Bowery Crane Gets the Bends, Miracle Garden is Going, 200 Eleventh Also Getting Strippers

EAST VILLAGE—Befitting a holidayish Monday afternoon, this "bendy crane" has been seen kind of taking it easy on the Bowery near Third Street. Hard work being a crane. [CurbedWire Inbox]

EAST VILLAGE—A reader write from further north in the neighborhood that "It looks to me that one of nicest gardens in the E. Village is set to become a new building! The back yard of the former Miracle Grill on 1st Ave – yard on 7th St. (Also known more recently as Imagine Grill) has been razed and at least twice now there has been a boring machine drilling on the site. It sucked when Miracle closed that location – now it sucks even more as a great backyard bites the dust." [CurbedWire Inbox]

2007_10_SapphireClub.jpgCHELSEA—200 Eleventh Avenue is going to be quite the place. Earlier today we noted that the En-Suite Sky Garage is a go. Now we can say that there will be live entertainment next door. Via an email: "Sapphire, the largest strip club in Las Vegas, is opening it showcase strip club with private rooms upstairs adjacent to the 200 Eleventh Avenue, according to the property developer who says it will be the biggest and nicest 'Gentlemen's Club' in New York City. Who wouldn't want to pay ten million to live near that one?" [CurbedWire Inbox]

1.

I'm pretty sure that's a concrete pump, not a crane.

Thanks John, I was about to post the exact same thing, but you beat me to it.
Cheers.

Concrete pumps have the greatest brand names, such as Schwing and Putzmeister.

Gentlemen's club? The name is as misleading as a yard sale- no yards are for sale, and no real gentlemen would be found in this club, only sleazebags with deep pockets and relationship problems.

How the hell do you ignorantly classify a concrete pump as a bendy crane? The average person might not immediately know the difference between the two but, these construction machines should be known to a supposed website that tracks real estate and construction in NYC for a living.

Robert? Curbed? Do you guys even bother to fact check or even look at the pictures you post?
