For its 40th Anniversary spectacular, New York hops into the wayback machine and alerts you to good deals to be had in something called "Park Slope." We're told it's a neighborhood in Brooklyn where beautiful brownstones can be purchased for $20,000. But hey, isn't that where that horrific plane crash was about eight years ago? No thanks. We like our neighborhoods relatively curse-free. [NYMag]
