The Observer's Tom Acitelli crunches the numbers on the latest TREGNY rental report, and it turns out that rents have dropped on doorman buildings throughout Manhattan. And we're talking some serious drops, too, in neighborhoods like Battery Park City, Soho, Tribeca and Harlem. So when you see your doorman today, give him a big ol' bear hug. He needs to feel loved.
