Given a couple of posts today related to former power plants in both Manhattan and in Brooklyn, here are some photos of one that is neither total demolished nor intact: the Powerhouse in Long Island City, as remade by Karl Fischer. It was a Pennsylvania Railroad Power Station built in 1909 and designed by McKim, Mead & White and it is very different now.
