Frank Gehry is No Longer Born in Brooklyn

Frank Gehry is no longer Brooklyn-born. After a little bit of local discussion, during which it was noted that Mr. Gehry is, in fact, Canadian-born and that Canada is nowhere near Flatbush & Atlantic Avenues, Forest City Ratner has tweaked its website, which had said the Atlantic Yards architect was born in Brooklyn. Mr. Gehry is now simply "born in 1929." The focus has switched to trying to get the Atlantic Yards developer to stop saying that the project is in Downtown Brooklyn rather than between Fort Greene and Prospect Heights as well as to figuring out if this Spitzer thing will have an impact on the project.
