The Skinny: The astronomical maintenance on this duplex may lead you to believe that the price must be somewhere up in the stratosphere, but this apartment just misses Fifth Avenue, and therefore does not have that Central Park premium. Or does it? (Mwahaha.) This is a great floorplan, with the always-preferred layout of living space on the bottom floor, sleepytown on the top floor. There are three proper bedrooms, with three maids' rooms to stash the help. Staircase looks a little steep, so start working those calves. Those fab pre-war touches include Juliet balconies and a wood-burning fireplace. So, how much?
