"This is an abuse of the very nature of the landmarking status and if it gets anywhere (i dont think it will), it will discredit and real efforts to landmark unique and extra ordinary pieces of NYC history will be muddled by efforts such as this. Why not landmark the East NY projects too b/c that was to be bought out and rent increased? Such a shame that people would even think of trying to abuse the landmarking system."
