The 10,000-square-foot Tribeca megatownhouse being fashioned out of a six-story modernist building and the old NoMoore Bar next door was famously described by its future inhabitants as "our suburb." This suburb included an art studio, a garage, an inner courtyard and, most famously, a sixth-floor swimming pool. And now that the crazy contraption is nearing completion, some startling news. A listing for the home, at 2 N Moore Street, popped up today via Corcoran superbroker Deborah Grubman. The suburbanites want $35 million for their dreamhouse, one they will never live in (it would almost be said if this wasn't a cash-in). Photos and floorplans are scant right now—the one after the jump appears to be the cellar—but there are some details shared: 5 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, 4 powder rooms, 3 fireplaces, and a 2-3 car garage. Showings start in June, so it looks like there's some more work to be done. With baited breath, we await word on what desperate housewife will move in to this suburb.
