There's a silver lining to the rumbling in the real estate market: "Brokers are seeing one-bedrooms and studios, particularly in non-doorman buildings, being snatched up at an accelerated pace, as renters who had been considering more opulent apartments are now choosing to downgrade" and there's "real strength in the lower end of the market."
