1) The Ariel West, one of a pair of new Extell condo buildings so beloved by their Upper West Side neighbors that the neighborhood was immediately downzoned, is scooping up always-pregnant View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck and her third-string QB husband as tenants. The couple bought a $3.25 million four-bedroom apartment in the 99th Street tower for their brood, which hopefully goes better than our last run-in with an Ariel 4BR. 2) After an initial burst of boldface buyers—Sting, Denzel Washington, Jeff Gordon—the roster at 15 Central Park West has been one boring banker after another. Now, finally, someone else we've heard of! Norman Lear closed on a 38th Floor condo in the "Tower" for $10 million. The TV legend may be 86, but he'll be damned if he's kept out of the best show in town. [The Real Deal]
