How to Cross the Road in PLG: Very, Very Carefully

Monday, May 12, 2008, by Robert

A trip on foot to Brooklyn's Prospect Park is not necessarily an easy thing, depending on one's approach. At on end, of course, one has to get across or around Grand Army Plaza from certain directions. The Prospect-Lefferts Gardens approach on the other side is no picnic either. (Nor is the Coney Island Avenue approach.) Blogger Hawthorne Street took a camera out and hilarity ensued in a trying to cross the street without becoming attached to the front end of a motor vehicle sort of way. Edgy. The entrance is supposed to be redesigned as part of a big project that will include the new Lakeside Center skating facility.
