Depressing FiDi bargain clothing retailer Syms has taken more steps toward assembling development rights for a big new skyscraper, the Post reports. Syms has agreed to buy a building adjacent to its store/bunker at 42 Trinity Place, and combined with previous air rights purchases, Syms can build a tower up to 40 stories high. [NYP]
