The list of reasons to be obsessed with the new Kimpton Hotel/rentals skyscraper growing out of 835 Sixth Avenue has been steadily growing. The 54-story building is already a crazy site for a pretty much dead part of town. Add the wacky Blade Runner-inspired restaurant, and now, via HotelChatter, the name: Hotel Eventi. Eventi! Perky, and also the size at which we take our morning latte. Meanwhile, architecture firm Perkins Eastman has added a couple looks at the building's outdoor plazas to their website. Check 'em out:
