We're a day late on revealing the listing for this week's PriceSpotter, but c'mon peoplethe freaking Hudson Yards fell apart! Anyhowsers, we knew the location and outright luxuryosity of this new condo pretty much made it a giveaway, but most people were good about not looking it up. A lot of the guesses were in the $2-$2.5 range, and the first correct answer (but was it clean?) was a guest named Mike at #7. This condo closed less than two months ago for $1.7 million. Aggressive!

What/Where: 2BR, 2.5BA condo on East End Avenue btwn 87th/88th Square Feet: 1,651 Maintenance & Taxes: $1,708 The Skinny: This apartment is one of the first resales in this building, which probably gives it away, but it's an interesting twist we felt shouldn't go unmentioned. So back off on looking it up and just concentrate on the bells and whistles: full-service luxury doorman building with high-end fixtures, washer/dryer, 10' ceilings, entry gallery, etc. No East River views from this puppy, but you do catch a look at the building's private landscaped garden. And just a water balloon toss from Gracie Mansion, too, so that's a plus. So, how much for this flip job?

We thought tossing in a for-sale-by-owner listing would through off the guessers, but all the drama was removed pretty early on from this week's PriceSpotter: The first dude nailed it (suspicious!). Many other guesses were in the $900k to $1M range, so the lack of a broker pricing this Hell's Kitchen two-bedroom apparently wasn't much of a curveball. Discussion soon turned to the decor, and this was a favorite zinger: "I'd pay a premium for the exposed brick, except for the fact that it's outside." The owner took it all in stride. "My wife and I loved the comments and laughed our ass off at a few," he writes. We love a happy ending.

What/Where: 2BR, 1BA co-op on West 55th Street btwn Eighth/Ninth Square Feet: not listed Maintenance & Taxes: $1,385 The Skinny: Hey, remember when the market was so hot that sellers felt they didn't need brokers to market their property and for-sale-by-owner listings flooded the market? Those were some crazy days, and for the most part, the FSBO scene has dried up. So what does the occasional fizzbow go for nowadays? That's for you to find out, using this cozy Hell's Kitchen co-op as your test speciment. The building is an elevator and doorman joint with laundry and storage facilities on the premises. The apartment was renovated within the last four years, features a sunken living room with separate dining room and a fairly snazzy Hell's kitchen. Heh, get it?!

A lot of people came in a little over the asking price on this bit of Typical Trump loveliness at 220 Riverside Boulevard, although a number of guesses were within a $100,000-$250,000 or so of the $3.285M asking price and many took the opportunity to critique the design and wonder about remodeling costs. Of course, you know, "There are stunning river views from the 35th floor of this sophisticated 6 room apartment. Meticulous details, including moldings, built-ins and wallcovering set the Park Avenue tone." This may account for the high guesses, although we had some significantly under the range too, and the aforementioned desire to shave a few hundred thousand off for the redo. Thanks for playing and apologies for the delay in the reveal.

What/Where: 3BR, 3BA condo on Riverside Blvd in Trump Place Square Feet: 1,972 Maintenance: $1,674 The Skinny: By "typicical Trump," we mean that this big condo in Trump PlaceThe Donald's massive redevelopment of the old rail yards at the southern end of Riverside Parkhas a particular sense of style. It may not be your thing, but given the successes of this Trumptown due west of Lincoln Center over the years, it definitely speaks to someone, in a "Park Avenue tone," per the listing. But this is not Park Avenue, it's the West Side, and this high-floor unit has the river views to prove it. So, how much?

Scandal! One word we didn't take much notice of in the listing for yesterday's private-pool touting PriceSpotter: retain. As in, "The top 2 floors connect easily to the lower floors to house up to 4 bedrooms, or retain them as an income-producing entity." So, it's not a single-family townhouse right now? Whoops, but that didn't appear to throw off steveisacollegestudent, who commented on this Soho/Hudson Square border zone not quite being a townhouse neighborhood before nailing the correct asking price. Will the integrity of PriceSpotter ever recover? Eh, who cares, it was just an excuse to stare at that pool. Mmm, refreshment.

What/Where: Townhouse on King Street btwn Varick/Sixth Ave. Square Feet: 4,600 Taxes: Not listed The Skinny: Straddling the border of Soho and Hudson Square is this 19th Century Federal townhouse, which is slightly different than your run-of-the-mill Manhattan home. It has a freaking pool. What better property to highlight with the weather turning warm? On the inside, too, this 21-foot-wide house has gone completely modern, the smaller rooms ripped out for a more open loft-like feel. Other miscellany: four fireplaces, washer/dryer in the basement and currently configured as a 3BR. Yummy. So, whatcha guess?

We knew this Tribeca duplex penthouse, with a 1,850-square-foot private rooftop terrace, would have people thinking eight figures. Sneakily, however, the Gerken Building apartment is priced just a shade under that, screwing over all those who guessed $10 million. In what has to be one of the more entertaining recent PriceSpotter threads, topics tackled included CRT vs. flatscreen HDTVs, the quality of the finishes and floorplan, and the "pimpjuice" closet off the master bath. The bidding however, was off. Many went way too high, using tried-and-true methods like $2,500 or $3,000 per square foot. We're in a recession here, people! In fact, there were no legit correct guesses. Better luck next week, chappies.

What/Where: 5BR, 7BA co-op on West Broadway btwn Chambers/Warren Square Feet: 7,000 Maintenance: $6,091 The Skinny: This week we go high-end, with that most precious of Tribeca commodities (just ask Jay-Z), the duplex penthouse. This one has a private 1,850-square-foot roof terrace, which probably has a decent view or two. Inside, ceiling height ranges from 9'6" feet to 10'10", and just check out the crackle action on that wood-burning fireplace. But guys, seriously, it's time to upgrade to a flatscreen. With the cash made off the sale, we think you'll be able to afford it. But how much cash are we talking about here?

The first quarter market reports that indicated not-so-nice things for Brooklyn led us to this duplex in the Heights, which garnered some not-so-nice comments. It's just a little blue, people! Who wouldn't put up with that for central A/C? This big ol' 4BR, 4BA "house-like" spread had a lot of people guessing low, with the correct guess coming after a bit of cheating. Thank you for your honesty, but we're still disappointed.

What/Where: 4BR, 4BA condo on Pierrepont Street btwn Henry/Hicks Square Feet: not listed Maintenance: $969 The Skinny: This morning's numbers weren't very good news for Brooklyn, but people still like Brooklyn Heights, right? RIGHT? This big duplex is "house-like," with a nice size terrace, a wood-burning fireplace and a very interesting looking TV/screening room. Plus, it has that holy of holies: central air. Washer and dryer also included, because times are tough and luxuries like wash-and-fold are the first to go. So, how much?

The exact location of this pre-war duplex just off Fifth Avenue threw some people off, such as this commenter: "There's only one building that fits the bill and that's 19 E 72nd. Snooty and expensive and the bright yellow must be the work of an overpaid decorator. $12 million." Nope, there's more snoot to be found on this block, at a much more affordable price! Congrats to steveisacollegestudent for nailing the price, down at #16. And kudos to the commenters who spotted the panic rooms (or whatever the heck they are) in the floorplan. Now that's Upper East Side pre-war grandeur!

What/Where: 3BR, 5.5BA pre-war duplex on East 72nd Street btwn Fifth/Madison Square Feet: not listed Maintenance: $7,095 The Skinny: The astronomical maintenance on this duplex may lead you to believe that the price must be somewhere up in the stratosphere, but this apartment just misses Fifth Avenue, and therefore does not have that Central Park premium. Or does it? (Mwahaha.) This is a great floorplan, with the always-preferred layout of living space on the bottom floor, sleepytown on the top floor. There are three proper bedrooms, with three maids' rooms to stash the help. Staircase looks a little steep, so start working those calves. Those fab pre-war touches include Juliet balconies and a wood-burning fireplace. So, how much?

Our search for something modern-looking amongst the old dandies of Central Park South led us to this duplex co-op in the Gainsborough, the 16-story, 34-unit building originally built to house artist studios. The lack of big, gorgeous windows overlooking Central Park was a design flourish not lost upon the commenters, many of whom guessed in the 3s. The first correct guess came early, via Anonymous: "I think I know this building. If I'm right, the exterior has always been an architectural fave of mine, but I've never been inside. It's CPS, so I'll guess absurdly high at $4,200,000."

What/Where: 2BR, 2BA co-op on Central Park South Square Feet: 1,700 Maintenance: $3,165 The Skinny: Yesterday's legendary That's Rather Hideous (final assessment: hideous!) got us in the mood to look for something a little more modern along Central Park South. We think we've found it with this duplex, which features a double-height living room and direct views of the park. Yesterday's CPSer, though considerably larger, was going for $25 million. How about this one?

Steve. Steve, Steve, Steve. Very good going with your "I'll go with $6.25 Million, looks like a nice place, I would buy it" guess on this Fifth Avenue duplex, but are we to believe the commenter a few rows down who wrote "#2 works in my office, and he cheated. He told me he googled the 'stats' of the apartment and found out the purchase price. Not fair?" Controversy aside, there were many compliments regarding the layout and floorplan of this post-war condo not far from Eliot Spitzer's rental pad. But one person suspects foul play: "I have the teensiest suspicion that this is a combo of a small one bedroom on the lower floor with a larger 'penthouse' on the upper floor. If you look at the structural beams, they're not arranged for the room configuration on the lower floor. A combo would also explain why the terrace, the apartment's only nice feature, is at the bedroom level and why the large closet on the second floor has a window. It was probably the penthouse's original kitchen."

What/Where: 3BR, 3BA condo on Fifth Avenue btwn 73rd/74th Square Feet: 2,600 Maintenance: $2,250 The Skinny: This duplex has a lot going for it. It's a condo in the land of co-ops, it has a wraparound terrace and it's on Central Park. It's almost enough to obscure the fact that is doesn't quite have direct Central Park views. No matter, becasue you can grow your own, compliments of the 32" temperature-controlled solarium. Guesses, svp.
